Social Studies helps students understand the complexities of humans, our history, and our present and future potential. Locations, technologies, and patterns create the societies that we live in today. In class students will work on the following skills:

• Build character;
• Connect with strategies, theories, and analytical tools that will increase their ability to deal with everyday problems;
• Learn to value the importance of political and social systems that shape our society today and what it can be in the future; and
• Contribute ideas to change issues surrounding the struggle for individual rights and equality and enter the world with social competence and confidence.
