Title I
Title I of the Elementary & Secondary Act (ESEA) provides financial assistance to schools to help students meet challenging academic standards and assessments. The goal is to ensure students succeed in the classroom and reach grade level performance. Walter Maginnis High School implements a school-wide Tile I model, which means all students in the school are provided with additional support. Title I support focuses on providing reading and math interventions; transitional and career counseling services; and college and career readiness instruction.
